Undergraduate
2014 - 2018
I completed my undergraduate studies at Rutgers Business School. During my time there, I developed my core skill sets in data science such as programming, SQL, statistics, and finances. I didn't know what data science really was until I started to get into programming and saw that I could automate mundane things which eventually lead me to deal with large datasets and complex computations using Python and R.

Data Scientist
2018 - 2022
My first job was at Northern Trust after I graduated from Rutgers. I specialized in optimizing computations using R and Python on Linux servers. Additionally, I leveraged Scala and Spark to read in and to process large, disparate data sources helping to drive business decisions by providing analysis and insight to C-Level executives

Graduate
2020 - 2022
Decided to get my Masters at UChicago and further educate myself to learn more about Data Science. It was a great environment to use my skill sets and take it to the next level while meeting people with similar interests. One of my more notable accomplishments was developing a Lego Robot using simulations and Reinforcement Learning to steer itself left or right when following a blue line.

Senior Data Scientist
2022 - Current
I decided to bounce out of Northern Trust and explore a different industry. Turns out, working at a food manufacturing company requires a lot of classical statistics which I enjoy. Its nice to see the math you learn finally get used. As of now, I'm part of a team that is focusing on optimizing our food manufacturing process to reduce waste.
In particular, we developed a linear regression model to understand the relationship between the stroke length of a pump and the amount of cream cheese being pumped out. Another cool thing that I have built is that I created a database that holds our sensors data using Spark, databricks, and delta to allow my data science team to quickly access it in an efficient manner as it has more than 1 billion rows worth of data!
